Spend the day engaged in a hands-on course that challenges participants to manage patients in workplace situations where outside help is going to be delayed. Expect forestry specific scenarios where participants can learn and apply emergency processes that they can take back into the bush. Subjects include Accident Site Management, Patient Assessment, Bleeds and Woundcare, Crush Injuries, CPR and Resuscitation incl Defibrillation and more.
The Forestry First Aid course is ideal for logging companies, foresty workers, private individuals that may do the occasional tree-felling or wood cutting in remote areas.

We will come to your organisation and tailor a particular course to your workplace and your staff.
On completion of the course, attendees will receive an electronic (pdf) first aid certificate, which is valid for 2 years.

To ensure you get the most out of your course, please dress in preparation for a few outdoor scenarios tailored to the weather conditions on the day. Suitable footwear and a jacket are ideal if a bit cooler, or looking like rain.
There are no prerequisites to our Forestry First Aid course, however, there may be requirements if you are interested in being assessed for any Unit Standards.
