Outdoor First Aid – Schools

Our rangatahi are our future and if we can encourage them to explore and be adventurous they are more likely to be resilient to life's challenges. Outdoor First Aid Training arms our school students with the confidence to manage emergencies in both wilderness and domestic settings until the emergency services can arrive.

Our Outdoor First Aid (OFA) for schools courses are one to three days in length and can include unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402 and 424 depending on course length. Students can expect to be challenged to problem-solve emergencies as a group and as individuals through a well-crafted blend of hands-on scenarios and theory based sessions. To be successful, training must keep learners engaged so expect these courses to include competitive elements and the odd good chuckle as we believe First Aid Training doesn’t need to be dreary.

We currently run this training for schools right across the country and most of the schools we work with use Peak Safety for their staff First Aid training as well.

Drop us a line if this sounds like it will work for your school.
