Numerous studies show that when staff are in a better place mentally and emotionally, productivity increases and the workplace begins to thrive. Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Courses are delivered by trained, qualified and experienced mental health practitioners and we believe this is part of what sets our training apart.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Introduction Course – 1/2 Day:

This 4 hr course will help participants understand some of the typical mental health challenges faced in today’s world, ways to recognise struggles both in oneself and others and become familiar with strategies that promote wellbeing. Expect your team to leave the course with knowledge of how they can make small changes that will result in big wellbeing gains, and tools for how they can look after each other, their loved ones and themselves.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Comprehensive Training Course – 1 Day:

Dive deeper into some of the most prevalent mental health challenges we see in today’s society. The full day course also allows time to get hands-on with essential communication skills such as listening, intentional questioning, safety strategies, and wellbeing techniques. This course empowers participants to pass on their learnings to other team members and grow a wellbeing culture that promotes resilience and connection.

Both courses include the following content:

  • Communication skills
  • Lifestyle choices that promote wellbeing
    Common types of mental health challenges including misconceptions, what helps and what doesn’t incl:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Grief and Loss
  • Brain Basics – how our brains work, how we can use them effectively, different types of help available
  • Identity – help or hindrance
  • Mindfulness – how to take control of our thoughts
