Auditing

Peak Safety Ltd offers a range of services to organisations to assist with the development, implementation and compliance of their Safety Management Systems (SMS). These are developed around the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities and industry standards.

SMS Development

A well-constructed SMS enables businesses to operate at an optimum level while meeting legislative requirements.

We can provide templates and a framework to develop the systems yourself with support from us, or we can develop the entire system with input from you.

Adventure Activity Operators are required to have an audited Safety Management System under the Health and Safety at Work (Adventure Activities) Regulations.  We will work with you to ensure success in the audit process.

SMS Auditing

We offer an independent Systems Audit (document only review) of your SMS.  We also offer an On Site Audit of the safety of your operation. These services ensure your organisation is complying with both statutory requirements and the in-house quality systems of your business.

We are registered to audit safety plans for Department of Conservation (DOC) concession applications.
